The materials (except for the padding) in these footstools has been recycled from industrial salvage. The leather may have been too small to make a chair, the oak had too much character and the legs were cut from longer peices that were not quite perfect. We choose the parts so no one can tell.

Made of solid oak, maple or cherry,(making them a little heavier than you think) and finished to allow the beauty to shine. Upholstered with a beautiful leather to suit. Offered in a variety of sizes, heights, leg and apron styles, as well as carving options, they may just be what you have been looking for to compleate and complement your surroundings.

You be the designer. Choose the leg, apron, size, and height you prefer and then give us a call. We will cover it in your choice of leather or you can have it covered yourself in your own fabric or needlepoint. Do you need an exact size to fit that needlepoint pattern? Just ask.

Just a word about upholstery. There are so many styles and tastes in fabric today that we cannot stock them all. We show these photos as examples and ask you to use your imagination to envision your fabric in its place. We will supply good quality leather in brown, dark brown, burgundy and black and others. If you order without upholstery you will still receive the bottom board and hardware required. We suggest you show a photo to your upholsterer and ask him to quote.

There is no set size for a footstool. The length and width may be determined by personal preference, the amount of words to be carved or some of both. Keep it simple. Make it personal.
